Anotácia:

Diplomová práce Extrémní fyzické proměny a herectví Christiana Balea je případovou studií specifického hereckého stylu Christiana Balea. Cílem je analyzovat jeho postupy a zjistit, jestli herec aplikuje některou ze známých metod, konkrétně Stanislavského metodu či tzv. Method acting teoretika a režiséra Lee Strasberga. Práce se rovněž zabývá osobou Christiana Balea – jeho kariérním vývojem, specifiky jeho filmového herectví a analýzou technik, jež jsou považovány za extrémní.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis Extreme Physical Transformations and Christian Bale's Acting is a case study of Christian Bale's specific acting style. The goal is to analyse his procedures and find out if the actor applies any of the well-known methods, specifically the Stanislavsky method or the so-called Method acting of theorist and director Lee Strasberg. The thesis also deals with the person of Christian Bale – his career development, the specifics of his film acting and the analysis of techniques that are considered extreme.
