Bakalárska práca je zameraná na históriu a charakteristiku platobných kariet. Prácu tvorí teoretická a praktická časť. Teoretická časť vymedzuje platobné karty od ich historického vývoja až po súčasnosť. Zameriava sa na členenie platobných kariet podľa rôznych kritérií.
