Educational programme for seniors with a focus on increasing their wellbeing

Abstract:

Teoretická část bakalářské práce vysvětluje základní pojmy, jako je wellbeing, edukace a edukační program. Převážně se věnuje wellbeingu, který představuje komplexní pojem zahrnující fyzickou, psychickou a sociální oblast v životě seniorů. Hlavním cílem edukace seniorů s důrazem na oblast wellbeingu je předat jim informace a poznatky, které jim mohou pomoci zvýšit jejich zdraví, duševní pohodu, sociální interakce a tím navýšit jejich celkový wellbeing. Praktická část bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na prezentaci edukačního programu. Jeho cílem je ukázat, naučit a používat techniky, které pomohou seniorům zvýšit jejich wellbeing.

Abstract:

Theoretical part of this work explains the basic concepts as wellbeing, education and educational programme for seniors. The work focuses on wellbeing as a comprehensive term involving physical, mental and social areas in the life of seniors. The main target of seniors' education with an emphasis on the wellbeing is to give seniors information and knowledge that can hepl them to improve their health, mental health as well as social interaction and increase their wellbeing. The practical part focuses on the education programme. The target of the education programme is to introduce and teach seniors how to use techniques and methods which can help them to enhance their wellbeing.
