The Nitrian conferences as the last joint initiative of Czechoslovak music pedagogy

Abstract:

This diploma thesis with the title “Conferences in Nitra as the last common initiative of Czechoslovak music pedagogy” deals with national conferences about music education which took place in Nitra in 1984, 1986 and 1988. The main aim is to define the position and importance of these conferences for Czechoslovak music pedagogy development in the common state era. This bachelor thesis is important because it is the first comprehensive piece of work which elaborates the conferences in Nitra with regard to the historical point of view and their relation to preceding years. It also reminds that music pedagogy belongs to musicology.

Abstract:

Diplomová bakalárska práca s názvom Nitrianske konferencie ako posledná spoločná iniciatíva československej hudobnej pedagogiky pojednáva o celoštátnych konferenciách o hudobnej výchove, ktoré sa konali v Nitre v rokoch 1984, 1986 a 1988. Jej primárnym cieľom je definovať postavenie a význam týchto konferencií pre rozvoj československej hudobnej pedagogiky v období spoločného štátu. Význam tejto bakalárskej práce spočíva aj v tom, že je prvou súhrnnou prácou, ktorá mapuje nitrianske konferencie nielen ohľadom samotného konania a významu konferencií, ale aj z pohľadu historického súvisu rokov minulých. Taktiež je pripomienkou, že hudobná pedagogika patrí do muzikológie.
