Creative Writing as a Tool for the Development of Creative Thinking in Literature Classes

Abstract:

Předložená práce se zabývá problematikou tvořivosti ve výuce literární výchovy na středních školách. Výkladová linie teoretické části práce je vystavěna kolem klíčového pojmu tvořivost, jeho ukotvení v rámci pedagogického procesu a jeho vztahu k pedagogické komunikaci. Navazující empirická část práce zachycuje deskripci toho, jakou podobu má komunikace mezi učiteli a žáky v literární výchově na středních školách s ohledem na rozvíjení tvořivého myšlení žáků. V návaznosti na konkrétní zjištění je následně popsáno, jakým způsobem a s jakými výsledky lze ve výukových postupech identifikovaných ve středoškolské výuce literární výchovy uplatnit techniky tvůrčího psaní jakožto nástroje rozvoje tvůrčího myšlení žáků, a to na základě práce s dvěma uměleckými texty, impresionistickou básní Rybníky a k symbolismu náležící básni Kdo vám tak zcuchal tmavé vlasy Antonína Sovy.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis examines how creativity can be used in literature classes in secondary schools. The theoretical part of the thesis centres around creativity, its grounding in the pedagogical process, and its relation to pedagogical communication. The empirical part describes the various types of communication which occur between the teacher and students in teaching literature in secondary schools with emphasis placed on the development of the students' creative thinking. Discussing specific research findings, the next part describes how creative writing techniques can be used in teaching literature in secondary schools and what results they yield. The above process is demonstrated on the students' work with two poems; the first being an impressionistic poem "Rybníky" and the second a symbolist poem "Kdo vám tak zcuchal tmavé vlasy", both penned by Antonín Sova.
