Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem ženských postav v anglickém dramatu období Renesance. Práce se zaměřuje na antické řecké a římské divadlo i italské renesanční divadlo, jakožto důležité součásti divadelní tradice, které ovlivnily vývoj anglického dramatu v období vlády Alžběty I. a Jakuba I., a dále také na postupné změny vztahu společnosti k ženám a odrazem těchto změn v dramatu.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the evolution of female characters of the Early Modern English drama. It focuses on Ancient Greek and Roman drama and on Italian Renaissance drama because they are important parts of the theatrical tradition that influenced the development of English drama in the period of Elizabeth I and James I.
