Newyorská divadelní skupina Wooster Group je jeden z představitelů amerického postmoderního divadla. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na její tři první inscenace, které spolu s představením Point Judith (An Epilog) jsou souhrnně pojmenovány Three Places In Rhode Island (či Rhode Island Trilogy). Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to introduce the first period of The Wooster Group, the representative of American postmodern theatre. The Wooster Group developed from Performance Group which was a collective theatre from the sixties. The first period of The Wooster Group contains three pieces: Sakonnet Point, Rumstick Road and Nayatt School. They are characteristic of the „autobiographical“ character Spalding …more
