Preconceptions of princes and princesses characters in thinking of pre-school children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou a následnou diagnostikou prekonceptů pohádkových bytostí, a to princů a princezen, u vybraných dětí předškolního věku a reakcí na prekoncepty jejich nejbližším okolím v podobě jejich rodičů a učitelů v mateřské škole. Teoretická část se prvotně zabývá vývojem dítěte, jeho kognitivních vlastností a také vývojem dětských pojetí. Seznamuje čtenáře s problematikou dětských naivních teorií, prekonceptů a miskonceptů. Dále popisuje fantazii a vliv pohádek a jejich čtení na její rozvoj. V praktické části je proveden vlastní výzkum u dětí předškolního věku. Jsou zjištěny dětské prekoncepty princů a princezen pomocí fenomenografického rozhovoru a fenomenografické analýzy kreseb dětí vybraných dětí v předškolním věku. Dotazníkovou metodou jsou zjištěny čtecí podmínky dětí, poznatky rodičů a učitelek z mateřské školy o prekonceptech a miskonceptech dětí a reakce dotazovaných na tyto fenomény.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis follows issues and diagnostics of preconceptions of fairytale creatures namely preconceptions of princes and princesses of preschool aged children and their reactions on these preconceptions in their closest neighborhood specifically their parents and kindergarten teachers. Theoretical part starts with child development, its cognitive skills and development of childs conception. It shows reader issues of child naive theories, preconceptions and misconceptions. Then the thesis describes imagination and influence of fairy tales on development of imagination. In practical part is the main research of preschool aged children. There are detected childs preconceptions of princes and princesses with method of phenomenographic interview and phenomenographic analysis of drawings of chosen preschool aged kids. In questionnaires was detected knowledge of parents and kindergarten teachers of preconceptions and misconceptions of children and above all their reactions on these phenomena.
