The leadership styles in the selected organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na styly řízení v organizaci XY. Hlavním cílem je na základě analýzy zjistit, popsat a zhodnotit způsoby vedení v této organizaci. Tato práce je rozdělena na dvě části – teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část byla vypracována formou literární rešerše a obsahuje vysvětlení základních pojmů a oblastí týkajících se problematiky managementu a vedení lidí. Praktická část obsahuje základní informace o sledované organizaci a především výzkum včetně výsledků, který proběhl na základě dotazníků pro manažery a podřízené zaměstnance, rozhovoru s ředitelem a vlastního pozorování při vykonávání praxe v této organizaci. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření jsou graficky zobrazeny a jednotlivé odpovědi jsou stručně popsány. Praktická část dále obsahuje souhrn těchto výsledků, na jehož základě byly navrženy možnosti pro odstranění drobných nedostatků v oblasti vedení lidí.

Abstract:

The master’s thesis is focused on the leadership styles in the organization XY. The main aim of this paper is to identify, describe and evaluate methods of leadership in this organization based on analysis. This thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part takes the form of a literature review and contains description of basic terms and areas concerning management and leadership. The practical part contains basic information about the selected organization and primarily the research including results, which was accomplished on the basis of questionnaires for managers and for employees, the interview with director and observation during my stay in the organization. The results of the questionnaire research are graphically displayed and the individual answers are briefly described. The practical part also contains summary of these results, on the basis of which were suggested the possibilities for improvement and elimination of the small shortages in the management.
