Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rozdíly mezi hasiči dobrovolnými a profesionálními. Obě skupiny hasičů jsou srovnávány z několika hledisek. Těmito hledisky jsou například: samotná činnost obou skupin, systém organizace a hierarchie uvnitř obou skupin, genderové zastoupení ve skupinách a množství sociálního kapitálu a prestiže. Informace jsou získávány pomocí pozorování, rozhovorů a dotazníků. Obě skupiny toho mají hodně společného, ale zároveň se v několika ohledech liší.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the differences between volunteer and professional firefighters. Both groups of firefighters are compared from several points of view. These are, for example, the activities of the two groups themselves, the organization system and the hierarchy within the two groups, the gender representation in groups and the amount of social capital and prestige. Information is gained through observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Both groups have a lot in common, but they differ in several respects.
