Abstract:
This thesis discusses the issue of Dutch Disease in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which although rich in many natural resources, is one of the poorest countries in the world. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether Dutch disease is present in this country based on given symptoms (such as real currency appreciation or employment growth in the service sector).
