Nature in Art Brut. Communication of Human and Nature

Abstract:

This study deals with natural themes in movement called art brut and goes through differences between itself and other art movements. It shows that work with unconscious is the most essential for art brut. Study tries to bring nearer this exploitation from inner inspirations through introduction of different themes and symbolism of nature. The authors create so called new nature in their work which is inspired very little from the real one. Natural themes in art brut are projections of „inner nature“ into works of authors. Work also shows author’s deviation form mimesis and his rivet upon expressive and inner depiction of nature. Art brut confirms that nature is not only surrounding us, but is also projected into our psyche. The aim of this work is also to show through natural themes in art brut an existence of connection between outer nature and unconscious realms of personality to follow another argument for nature preservation, based on deeper interconnection of man and nature.

Abstract:

Práca sa venuje prírodným námetom v smere art brut a skúma odlišnosti voči iným umeleckým smerom. Ukazuje, že pre art brut je podstatná práca s podvedomým. Predstavením rôznorodých námetov a prírodnej symboliky sa práca pokúsi priblížiť toto čerpanie z vnútorných inšpirácií. Autori vytvárajú vo svojich dielach novú prírodu, ktorá je tou reálnou ovplyvnená len minimálne. Prírodné námety sú v art brut premietnutím „vnútornej prírody“ do jeho diel. Práca tiež ukazuje autorov odklon od mimézis a upriamenie jeho pozornosti na expresívne a vnútorné zobrazenia prírody. Cez umelecký prejav art brut potvrdzuje, že príroda nás nielen obklopuje, ale prenáša sa aj do našej psychiky. Práca sa cez priblíženie prírodných námetov v art brut snaží ukázať existenciu spojenia medzi vonkajšou prírodou a podvedomými sférami osobnosti, čím chce predostrieť ďalší argument v prospech ochrany prírody, založený na hlbšom prepojení človeka a prírody.
