Vliv poloparazitických rostlin a různých způsobů obhospodařování na společenstva ploštic (Heteroptera) v druhově bohatých travních porostech

Influence of hemiparasitic plants and different management practices on communities of true bugs (Heteroptera) in species-rich grasslands

Abstract:

V této diplomové práci se věnuji vlivu obhospodařování a působení poloparazitické rostliny, kokrhele luštince (Rhinanthus alectorolophus; Orobanchaceae), na společenstva ploštic (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) v druhově bohatých travních porostech svazu Bromion erecti. V terénním experimentu byly sledovány travní porosty obhospodařované čtyřmi způsoby: sečí, pastvou, pastvou spojenou s vypálením a ponecháním porostu ladem. Výzkum probíhal na dvou lokalitách, v Bílých Karpatech a Vsetínských vrších. Na obou lokalitách byl na polovině experimentálních ploch do rostlinného společenstva vyset kokrhel luštinec, druhá polovina sloužila jako kontrola. Vzorky ploštic byly z porostu odebírány zahradním vysavačem (tzv. suction sampling). Celkem bylo od června do září 2014 ve čtyřech termínech odebráno 320 vzorků, ve kterých bylo obsaženo 2101 dospělých jedinců ploštic, příslušejících ke 104 druhům. Data byla analyzována pomocí jednorozměrných a mnohorozměrných statistických metod. Testovány byly rozdíly v abundanci, druhové bohatosti, druhovém složení a zastoupení hlavních trofických skupin ve společenstvech ploštic na plochách s různou kombinací sledovaných faktorů. Přítomnost kokrhele měla v interakci se způsobem obhospodařování významný vliv na abundance i druhovou bohatost ploštic. Na pasených a pasených a zároveň vypalovaných plochách kokrhel počet jedinců i druhů ploštic výrazně snižoval. Na neobhospodařovaných a sečených plochách měl opačný efekt. Zároveň kokrhel i způsob obhospodařování ovlivňovaly druhové složení společenstev a v porostech ponechaných ladem byl oproti obhospodařovaným porostům zaznamenán větší počet jedinců dravých ploštic. Kokrhel a způsob obhospodařování ovlivnily společenstva ploštic pravděpodobně prostřednictvím více různých faktorů, jakými jsou např. změna struktury a druhového složení vegetace. Diplomová práce potvrzuje, že působení poloparazitických rostlin na vegetaci se přenáší i do dalších trofických úrovní. Zároveň práce dokazuje, že výsledek tohoto vlivu je silně závislý na způsobu obhospodařování travního porostu.

Abstract:

This thesis examines the impacts of management practices and of a root hemiparasitic plant, European Yellowrattle (Rhinanthus alectorolophus; Orobanchaceae), on comunities of true bugs (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) in species-rich grasslands of the Bromion erecti alliance. In a field experiment set up at two sites in the eastern Czech Republic (the White Carpathians and the Vsetínské vrchy Hills), four treatments of grassland management were applied: cutting, grazing, grazing combined with burning, and abandonment. At both sites, the yellowrattle was sown into the plant communities on a half of experimental plots while the other half was used as a control. Bugs were collected using standardised suction sampling. In total, 320 samples were collected at four different dates from June to September 2014 which included 2,101 adult specimens and 104 species of Heteroptera. Data were analyzed with univariate and multivariate statistics to test differences in abundance, species richness, species composition, and representation of main trophic groups in the true bug communities among plots with different combinations of experimental factors. The presence of the yellowrattle had a significant effect on the abundance and species richness of true bugs in interaction with the management type. Both the abundance and species richness decreased significantly in grazed and grazed and burned plots with the yellowrattle compared with the control. In the abandoned and cut plots, the yellow-rattle had an opposite effect: the numbers of true bug specimens and species were higher than in control plots. In the same time, both the yellowrattle and the management type influenced the species composition of the true bug communities. The abundance of predatory Heteroptera was higher in abandoned grasslands than in managed plots. The yellowrattle and management influenced the bug communities probably through a combination of factors, such as changes in the structure and species composition of the vegetation. The thesis confirms that the impact of root-hemiparasitic plants on the vegetation is transferred across trophic levels. In the same time, the thesis demonstrates that the results of this effect are strongly dependent on the grassland management practice.
