This bachelor paper is concerned with the life of Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg and his attempt to assassinate Adolf Hitler on 20th July 1944. Basic facts about this operation are listed. In the second part of the thesis, the movie Valkyrie is introduced. The most important scenes from the movie will be analyzed according to their historical accuracy. Diese Abschlussarbeit befasst sich mit dem Leben des Claus Phillip Maria Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg und mit dem Bombenattentat auf Adolf Hitler, das er am 20. Juli 1944 durchgeführt hat.
