We have described the basic information on tax theory, the current condition, tax overview in the Slovak Rupublic. We have focused on the vehicle tax issue in the Slovak Republic in a detailed way and we have demonstrated the tax return processing procedures. V bakalárskej práci sme popísali základné poznatky z daňovej teórie, súčasný stav, prehľad daní v Slovenskej republike. Detailnejšie sme priblížili problematiku dane z motorových vozidiel v Slovenskej republike podľa zákona o miestnych daniach a znázornili postupy pri spracovaní daňového priznania.
