Danio rerio as a model for xenotransplantation of human cancer cells

Abstract:

Xenotransplantace lidských rakovinných buněk do modelového organismu představuje klíčový nástroj v oblasti výzkumu rakoviny. Tato práce poskytuje komplexní přehled o xenotransplantacích využívajících danio pruhované (Danio rerio). Hlavním cílem praktické části bylo optimalizovat metodu xenotransplantace lidských rakovinných buněk do embryií dania.

Abstract:

Xenotransplantation of human cancer cells into the model organism represent a key tool in the field of cancer research. This thesis provides a comprehensive overview of xenotransplantation studies performed in zebrafish (Danio rerio).The aim of the experimental part was to optimize the xenotransplantation of human cancer cells into zebrafish embryos.
