Inline hockey in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

V této práci je stručně shrnuta historie inline hokeje ve světě i u nás, pravidla obou mezinárodních federací (FIRS a IIHF) a odlišnosti českých pravidel. Dále je popsáno vybavení potřebné pro inline hokej, rozdělení do kategorií, organizace a systém soutěží v České republice. V závěru jsou zmíněny úspěchy českého inline hokeje na mezinárodní scéně a představeny, dle mého názoru, největší osobnosti tohoto sportu u nás. V dnešní době, kdy se velmi pomalu začíná zvyšovat zájem diváků i médií o tento brankový kolektivní sport, si myslím, že se bude zvyšovat zájem sponzorů a rozšiřovat hráčská základna.

Abstract:

In this work is a brief summary of the history of inline hockey in the world and our country, the rules of both international organizations (FIRS and IIHF) and differences of Czech rules.There is also described which equipment is needed for inline hockey, divided into categories, organization and competitions system in the Czech Republic.In the end are extracted succes of the Czech inline hockey on the international scene and highlighted in my opinion the greatest personalities of this sport in our country. Nowadays, when interest of sport spectators and media in this goal team sport is slowly increasing, i suggest that the interest will lead to attraction of new sponsors and also lead to increase of number of people actively involved in this sport.
