Práce se zabývá vlivem pravidelného sledování televize v angličtině na angličtinu českých studentů. Vychází z předpokladu, že se studenti ve škole učí britskou angličtinu, ale tráví hodně času sledování amerických seriálů. Abstract:
The thesis deals with the impact watching TV in English has on English learners. It is based on the premise that Czech students are taught Received Pronunciation at school, but watch a lot of American TV. The thesis contains a research that examines the pronunciation and vocabulary of 6 students who watch TV in English regularly in order to determine its impact on their English.
