Unemployment problems of people older than fifty years

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je určit strategii nezaměstnaných osob starších padesáti let, včetně analýzy jejich vlastních postojů a iniciativ, které využívají při hledání nového zaměstnání. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na problematiku nezaměstnanosti osob starších padesáti let. Zabývá se významem práce v životě člověka, popisuje nezaměstnanost, její rozdělení, rizikové skupiny ohrožené nezaměstnaností. Dále je v práci popsána charakteristika osob starších padesáti let z pohledu pracovní síly. Závěr teoretické části se věnuje popisu lounského regionu, včetně analýzy regionálního trhu práce. V praktické části je využito kvantitativního výzkumu, metody dotazníku, který se zaměřuje na otázky týkající se konkrétních aktivit, postojů a strategie nezaměstnaných osob starších padesáti let. Je zkoumána míra ochoty ke zvyšování kvalifikace, způsoby hledání nového zaměstnání, zájem o využití nástrojů aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti či postoj k únikovým strategiím při řešení nezaměstnanosti.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine the strategy of the unemployed people more than fifty years old, including the analysis of their own attitudes and initiatives they use to find a new job. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the issue of unemployment of persons over fifty years old. It deals with the importance of a job in human life, describes unemployment, its division, groups at risk of unemployment. Next the thesis characterizes people over fifty years old from the point of view of their work power. The conclusion of the theoretical part describes the Louny region, and analyzes regional labor market. The practical part uses quantitative research, the questionnaire method, which focuses on questions concerning specific activities, attitudes and strategies of unemployed people over fifty years old. It explores the rate of willingness to increase qualifications, ways of looking for a new job, ability to use active employment policy tools, or attitudes to escape strategies while solving the unemployment problem.
