Comprehensive PC Security

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je analýza možnosti komplexního zabezpečení osobního počítače s důrazem na maximální možnou ochranu dat. V této práci jsou rozebrána základní témata ochrany, jako jsou především fyzická a personální bezpečnost, zabezpečení samotného operačního systému Microsoft Windows v souvislosti s potenciálními hrozbami, analýza možnosti zabezpečení počítačové sítě a v neposlední řadě je zde navržena optimální konfigurace zabezpečení osobního počítače s ohledem na jeho umístění v počítačové síti, nastavení OS a instalaci základních bezpečnostních aplikací.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to analyze the possibilities of comprehensive security of personal computer, especially maximal potential data protection. This thesis discusses basic topics of protection, like physical and personnel security, security of operational system Microsoft Windows itself in context of potential threats, possible securing of computer network and, last but not least, an optimal security configuration of a personal computer in context of its placement in computer network, OS settings and installation of basic security applications.
