Cílem práce je pokusit se postihnout, co předcházelo zahájení výstavby trati, která na počátku 20. století spojila královské město Louny s městečkem Libochovice a čím byly okolnosti jejího vzniku specifické v kontextu železniční sítě severozápadních Čech. The goal of this work is to try to depict, what came before building of railway, which at the start of the 20. century, connected king's city Louny with the town Libochovice and what were the circumstances of it's creation specific in a context of railways of north-western Bohemia.
