Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá ekonomickými dějinami města Chrudimi, a jejich praktickým zařazením do výuky na středních školách ve městě Chrudim. Diplomová práce popisuje ekonomický vývoj města Chrudimi od počátků až po současnost, především dbá na chronologický popis historických událostí a vývoj jednotlivých hospodářských odvětví. Nedílnou součástí této práce je charakteristika střední školy, ve které byla výuka a následné průzkumné šetření aplikováno. Hlavní část práce tvoří výzkum, jehož cílem bylo zjistit stávající znalosti žáků, tedy před výukou ekonomických dějin města Chrudimi, a následně tyto znalosti ověřit. Daný výzkum byl uskutečněn formou pretestu a posttestu, a získané údaje jsou zpracovány písemně a pro větší přehlednost do tabulek a grafů. Výsledky tohoto průzkumu mohou pomoci středním školám si uvědomit, že je pro žáky důležité znát okolí, ve kterém žijí a v budoucnu chtějí získat zaměstnání. V závěru práce navrhuji doporučení pro efektivnější formu výuky ekonomických dějin na středních školách.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the economical history of the town of Chrudim and its practical incorporation to history lessons at secondary schools in this area. The thesis describes the economical development of the town from its beginning up to the present. It specifically pays attention to chronological description of historical events and the development of individual economic sectors. To the integral part of the thesis belongs the characteristics of the school in which the teaching and consequently the analysis were applied. The main part of the thesis consists of the research which aimed at finding out the current knowledge of the pupils (meaning before the teaching of economic history of Chrudim) and then at verification of the knowledge. The research was implemented through pre-test and post?test. The information gained is then analysed in a written form and for clearer arrangement put into charts and graphs. The outcomes of the research can help the secondary schools to realise that it is important for the pupils to know the surroundings and the area they live in and where they would like to get employed in the future. At the end of the thesis I suggest some recommendations for more effective teaching of economic history at secondary schools.
