Awareness of Non-Medical Health Workers about the Issue of Clostridial Infection in an Intensive Care Unit

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou klostridiových infekcí a povědomím nelékařských zdravotnických pracovníků o nich. Práce byla rozdělena na dvě části, a to na část teoretickou a průzkumnou. Teoretická část byla zaměřena na představení problematiky klostridiových infekcí, popsání druhů klostridií, diagnostiku a možnosti léčby dané infekce. Dále byla teoretická část zaměřena na ošetřovatelskou péči o pacienta s tímto infekčním onemocněním. Průzkumná část se zabývala zjišťováním povědomí nelékařských zdravotnických pracovníků o problematice klostridiové infekce na lůžkách intenzivní péče. Pro průzkumné šetření bylo stanoveno 6 průzkumných otázek a k nim byly vytvořeny otázky do dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of Clostridial infections and the awareness of non - medical health professionals about them. The thesis was divided into two parts, the theoretical and exploratory part. The theoretical part was focused on the introduction of the issue of Clostridial infections, description of the types of Clostridial infections, diagnosis and treatment options for the infection. Furthermore, the theoretical part focused on the nursing care of patients with this infectious disease. The research part dealt with the awareness of non-medical health professionals about the issue of Clostridial infection in intensive care beds. 6 survey questions were set for the research survey and questions were created for them in the questionnaire survey.
