Top sport in the life of a pupil at a secondary vocational school

Abstract:

V závěrečné bakalářské práci je zpracováno téma vrcholový sport v životě žáka střední odborné školy. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou část a praktickou část. Cílem teoretické části bakalářské práce je popsat systém vzdělávání na středních odborných školách, definovat pojmy nadání a talent od obecného pojetí po specifika sportovního talentu a charakterizovat podmínky pro vzdělávání nadaných žáků bez zaměření na konkrétní druh nadání a následně směřovat ke specifikám vzdělávání sportovců v České republice a v evropském kontextu. V teoretické části bu-de také popsána problematika dvojí kariéry. Metodou použitou v teoretické části bakalářské práce je studium aktuálních odborných publikací a internetových zdrojů, jejich analýza, srovnání, syntéza a následná tvorba výpisků. Cílem praktické části je zmapovat aspekty studia žáka střední odborné školy při provozování vrcholového sportu. Pro naplnění cíle je použit kvalitativní průzkum a metodou sběru dat je polostrukturovaný rozhovor s vrcholovými sportovci, kteří studovali na střední odborné škole podle individuálního vzdělávacího plánu. Analýza dat je prováděna otevřeným kódováním. Na základě získaných informací od respondentů je navrženo doporučení pro pedagogickou praxi.

Abstract:

The final bachelor thesis is elaborated on the topic of the top sport in the life of a pupil at a secondary vocational school. The thesis is divided into the theoretical part and the practical part. The aim of the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is to describe the system of education at secondary vocational schools, to define concepts of talent and talent from the general concept to the specificity of sports talent and to characterise the conditions for the education of gifted pupils without focusing on a particular type of talent, and subsequently to focus on the specifics of education of athletes in the Czech Republic and in the European context. The theoretical part will also describe the issue of dual career. The method used in the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is the study of current professional publications and internet sources, their analysis, comparison, synthesis and subsequent creation of extracts. The aim of the practical part is to map the aspects of the study of the pupil of the secondary vocational school during the top sport. Qualitative research is used to meet the goal and the method of data collection is a semi-structured inter-view with top athletes who studied at a secondary vocational school according to an individual educational plan. Data analysis is performed by open encoding. Based on the information received from the respondents, a recommendation for pedagogical practice is proposed.
