Development of bicycle infrastructure in Třeboň region

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je analýza stávajícího stavu cyklistické infrastruktury v Třeboňském regionu. Výstupem práce je SWOT analýza cyklistické dopravy v regionu, vyhodnocení dotazníkového průzkumu a návrh nové cyklostezky v Třeboni a cyklotrasy na Třeboňsku. Práce je rozčleněna na dva úseky: teoreticko-metodologickou a aplikační část. V teoreticko-metodologické části jsou uvedené základní pojmy týkající se daného tématu. Především jsem zde charakterizovala druhy cyklistické infrastruktury. V závěru poukazuji na Třeboňsko a specifika třeboňských cyklotras. Čerpala jsem z odborných dokumentů, knih a mapových podkladů. Cílem aplikační části je návrh nové cyklostezky a cyklotrasy v daném regionu a analýza stávajícího stavu cyklistické infrastruktury na Třeboňsku. K získání potřebných údajů je v práci použita analýza dokumentů, dotazníkové šetření a následné vyhodnocení výsledků. V závěru jsem zhodnotila diskuzi výsledků a návrhy opatření.

Abstract:

The object of this thesis was to analyze the present cycling conditions in the region of Trebon. The outcomes of this thesis are a SWOT analysis of the same, an evaluation of a questionnaire research and a proposal for the establishment of a new bicycle path in Trebon and a bicycle route in Trebon region. The thesis is structured in two parts: a theoretical-methodological and a practical part. The theoretical-methodological part provides a summary of basic concepts and data. Primarily, I characterized of all types of cycling infrastructure. In the conclusion of my thesis I highlight the specifics of cycling in Trebon region. I used technical documents, books and maps. The practical part is a proposal of new bicycle paths and routes along with an analysis of the present cycling conditions in the same region. In order to obtain the required data, I analysed various documents, conducted a questionnaire survey and did a subsequent evaluation of the results. In conclusion I evaluated all the above mentioned aspects as well as the outcomes review and proposals for the next steps.
