Hunting motives

Abstract:

Tématem praktické diplomové práce jsou lovecké motivy. Cílem práce je ukázat ucelený pohled na loveckou a mysliveckou kulturu v historii lidstva. Text je rozdělen na dvě části ? teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je popisován vývoj od lovectví k myslivosti, zobrazování zvířat a náboženské motivy související s uměním. Klíčová slova jsou zvířecí kult, kult bohů, lovec, magický význam, kouzelná magie, myslivost, světec, tradice a zvyky. Tyto výrazy se nalézají v umění pravěku, v době kamenné, ve starověku, v Egejském umění, v umění Řecka a Říma, v době předfeudální, feudální, kapitalismu, socialismu a v současnosti. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na myslivecké tradice. Toto téma vyplynulo z potřeby získat představu o významu myslivosti z pohledu dnešní doby. Výstupem praktické časti je soubor obrazů, které ukazují na střet tradiční myslivosti a současné doby.

Abstract:

Topic of this practical degree work is a hunting motives. The aim is to show a comprehensive view of hunting and its culture in the history of mankind. The text is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part describes an evolution from hunting to gamekeeping as well as portraying animals and religious themes in relation to the art. The key words are cult of animal, cult of the gods, hunter, meaning of magic, magic sorcery, hunting, saint, traditions and customs. These expressions are found in prehistoric art, stone age, antiquity, Aegean art, the art of Greece and Rome and at the time of prefuedal, feudal, capitalism, socialism and in the present time. The practical part is focused on the hunting tradition. This topic emerged from the need to apprehend the meaning of hunting from perspektive of today?s age. The outcome of practical part is a sequence of images showing the conflict between traditional hunting and the hunting in the present time.
