Abstract:

Abstract (Cesky) Práce analyzuje obchod v prostředí Evropské Unie a zámořské investiční vztahy za použití nejkomplexnější dostupné databáze a souboru stávajících vícestranných i dvoustranných obchodních ujednání. Práce taktéž demonstruje, jak důležitou roli hrají institucionální proměnné, přičemž tento úkaz je konkrétně vysvětlen prostřednictvím případových studií, které čtenáře seznámí s obchodními vztahy na poli textilního a oděvního průmyslu, v Evropské Unii a mezi třemi zeměmi, kterými jsou Indie, Bangladéš a Čína. Práce čtenáři nejprve představí světový makroekonomický přehled v souvislosti se současnými globálními ekonomickými, finančními a obchodními trendy. Z obchodního hlediska Evropské Unie zde poté budou rozvinuty tři případové studie. Tyto případové studie budou porovnávat témata vyhledávání zdrojů, výroby, dovozu a vývozu. V závěru tento výzkum zhodnotí, která z výše uvedených zemí se jeví jako příznivější pro zúčastněné strany Evropské Unie, jež by mohly mít zájem podnikat v zahraničí. Obchodní informace budou použity k vytvoření srovnání a empirická data budou porovnána s přímými kontakty nasbíranými skrze zahraniční obchodní protějšky, jako jsou dodavatelé, průmysl, obchodní sdružení a státní instituce. V závěru si tato práce klade za cíl zjistit, které ze zkoumaných zemí jsou nejpříznivější pro obchod EU a investiční vztahy v zámoří, v textilním a oděvním průmyslu.

Abstract:

Abstract This thesis analyses the European Union Trading and Investment Relationships Overseas using the most comprehensive available database and the scope of the existing multilateral and bilateral trade agreements. This study also demonstrates that institutional variables play an important role and this issue will be specifically explained throughout the case studies which will explain the business relations in textiles and apparel field, between European Union and the following three countries: India, Bangladesh and China. First of all the thesis will present a world macroeconomic overview in order to contextualize the current global economic, financial and trading trends. By the European Union trading perspective, three case studies will be herein developed. The case studies will compare the topics of outsourcing, manufacturing, importing and exporting. In the conclusion, this research will evaluate which of these countries is more favorable for the European Union trading stakeholders, which may be willing to make business overseas. Business info will be used to make the comparisons and also empirical data will be benchmarked from the direct contacts made with the trading counterparts abroad, as suppliers, industries, trading associations and governmental institutions. In the conclusion, the outcome of this thesis aims to identify which country studied through the cases, may be the most favorable for European Union Trading and Investment Relations overseas in the textiles and apparel field.
