Bojnice Castle as the Seat of the Art Collector Count Jan František Pálfi
Abstract:
This bachelor work is focused on the collector’s activity of the Count Ján František Pálfi and the historicist reconstruction of Bojnice castle which he performed. This work includes the analysis of the Count Ján František Pálfi collector’s activity, on the one hand in the context of his other activities and on the other hand in the context of Central-European collecting in his time.
Abstract:
Práca je zameraná na zberateľskú činnosť grófa Jána Františka Pálfiho a na historizujúcu prestavbu Bojnického zámku, ktorú uskutočnil. Súčasťou práce bude analýza zberateľskej činnosti grófa Pálfiho jednak v kontexte jeho ostatných aktivít a jednak v kontexte stredoeurópskeho zberateľstva jeho doby.
