Abstract:
Members of the family Trypanosomatidae are unicellular obligatory parasites with highly adaptable-to-the-environmental-changes metabolism inhabiting wide range of vectors and hosts. Catalase is one example of the metabolic adaptations of trypanosomatids. The gene was likely not present in the genome of their ancestor. Členové čeledi Trypanosomatidae jsou jednobuněční, obligátní paraziti obývající široké spektrum vektorů a hostitelů a vyznačující se metabolismem vysoce přizpůsobivým environmentálním změnám.
