The Comparison of Hybrid Tribunals - The Special Court for Sierra Leone and The Special Panels for Serious Crimes in East Timor
Abstract:
The thesis compares and analyses two hybrid courts- Special court for Sierra Leone and Special panels for serious crimes in East Timor. The main aim of this work is to testify the hypothesis referring to the importance of political will for effectiveness of tribunal. It focuses on background and the establishment of courts, resources and management and cooperation with key actors of the process.

Bakalárska práca porovnáva a analyzuje dva hybridné trestné tribunály, a to Zvláštny súd pre Sierru Leone a Zvláštne senáty pre vážne zločiny vo Východnom Timore, s cieľom overiť hypotézu, poukazujúcu na politickú vôľu, ako na kľúčového determinanta efektivity tribunálov.
