Software for optimization and automation of data preparation for wire cutting and label printing machines

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářská práce je návrh a vývoj softwarového řešení pro optimalizaci a automatizaci přípravy dat pro stroje na střih vodičů a tisk popisků. Toto řešení je vytvořeno pro reálné nasazení ve výrobním podniku, kde je označováno jako Konfigurátor. Autor v práci aplikuje kombinaci metod pozorování, měření, komparace a analýzy firemních dokumentů, doplněnou o expertní rozhovory s odborníky a literární rešerši, k dosažení teoreticky fundovaného a v praxi efektivního řešení. Autor popisuje návrh a vývoj softwaru na platformě Microsoft Excel podle jím zvoleného metodického postupu, iterativního a inkrementálního modelu. Konfigurátor je průběžně testován v reálném provozu, což umožňuje kontinuální zdokonalování a přizpůsobování potřebám uživatelů. Výsledkem je funkční a v praxi již skutečně nasazený software, který pomáhá při přípravě dat pro stroje.

Abstract:

The goal of this bachelor thesis is the design and development of a software solution for the optimization and automation of data preparation for wire cutting and label printing machines. This solution has been created for real deployment in a manufacturing enterprise, where it is called a Configurator. Author of this thesis applies a combination of observation, measurement, comparison, and analysis of company documents, supported by expert interviews and literature review, to achieve a theoretically informed and practically effective solution. The author describes the design and development of the software using Microsoft Excel platform according to his chosen methodological approach, the iterative and incremental model. The configurator is continuously tested in real operation, which allows for ongoing improvement and adaptation to user needs. The result is functional software that has already been deployed in practice and helps in the preparation of data for machines.
