Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá prvky standardní a nestandardní negace v anglickém jazyce. Jejím cílem je zkoumat užití a výskyt negace v psaném a mluveném jazyce prostřednictvím analýzy americké novely O myších a lidech od Johna Steinbecka.
