Sn cations: Catalysts for hydroborations of C=O group

Abstract:

V rámci vypracování bakalářské práce byla provedena literární rešerše na téma hydroborace a katalyzátory hydroborací na bázi prvků 14. skupiny. Z této rešerše vyplývá, že v posledních několika letech došlo k velkému pokroku ve výzkumu takových katalyzátorů. V experimentální části bylo proto připraveno šest nových katalyzátorů, jejichž katalytická aktivita byla studována. Pro dva nejefektivnější katalyzátory s charakterem cínatých kationtů byla provedena studie kinetiky, mechanismu a použitelných substrátů.

Abstract:

In the context of this bachelor thesis, a literature review was carried out on the subject of hydroboration and hydroboration catalysts based on group 14 elements. The review implies that great progress has been made in the research of such catalysts in recent years. Therefore, in the experimental section, six new catalysts were prepared and their catalytic activity has been studied. A study has been conducted on the kinetics, mechanism and substrate scope of the two most efficient catalysts with a tin(II) character.
