První část práce se zabývá historickým a kulturním kontextem vzniku filmu, jeho produkcí, distribucí a recepcí. This thesis is a neoformalist analysis of the movie Protektor (director Marek Najbrt; Czech republic, 2009). First part of workobserves broader historical and cultural context of filmmaking, its production, distribution and reception. The next part of work tries to define dominantprinciple of film form.
