Comparision of Environmental Transport Taxes in Member States of EU

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na ekologické daně v oblasti dopravy, zejména na zdanění motorových vozidel v členských státech Evropské unie. V práci jsou vyhodnoceny dopady potenciální aplikace registrační daně na státní rozpočet a domácnosti v České republice s využitím statistik sestavovaných Svazem dodavatelů automobilů a Statistiky rodinných účtů. Registrační daň byla stanovena na základě modifikovaného nizozemského modelu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on environmental taxes in the field of transport, especially on the taxation of motor vehicles in the Member States of the European Union. The work evaluates the impacts of the potential application of the registration tax on the state budget and households in the Czech Republic, using the statistics compiled by the Car Importers Association and Household Budget Survey. The registration tax was established on the basis of a modified Dutch model.
