Predmetom diplomovej práce „Literárne, poetologické a estetické súvislosti tvorby Jána Smreka“ je osobnosť Jána Smreka. Práca poukazuje na jeho literárny, kultúrny a publicistický život. Práca tiež predstavuje jeho súborné básnické dielo, ktoré sa skladá z troch básnických zbierok a dvoch kníh spomienok.
