Abstract:

Práce se věnuje představení a zařazení do dobového kontextu významného pramene pro studium hudebního vkusu ve Francii na počátku 18. století. Jedná se o 'Dissertation sur la Musique Italienne et Françoise', vydanou poprvé v měsíčníku Mercure Galant v listopadu roku 1713 pod iniciálami M. de L.T. Toto pojednání dokládá vývoj hudebního vkusu směrem k propojení italského a francouzského stylu, které se projevuje zejména v tvorbě francouzských kantát a sonát v prvních desetiletích 18. století. Kromě představení díla s ohledem na další práce vztahující se ke sporům mezi stoupenci italské a francouzské hudby ve Francii v 17. a v první polovině 18. století, se tato práce také věnuje snaze o bližší určení autora díla. Díky nalezeným dílům, která lze autorovi připsat, čítajícím takřka sto opusů, se podařilo rekostruovat iniciály na Monsieur de La Tour. S ohledem na více hudebníků, kteří se pod tímto jménem v dané době objevovali, věnuje se tato práce analýze nalezených děl a jejich přiřazení k jednotlivým autorům. Výsledně pak autorovi Dissertation připisujeme písně publikované v letech 1709 až 1731 v kolektivních sbírkách vydávaných rodinou Ballardů a také díla publikovaná v Mercure Galant ve stejném období. Z autorství naopak vylučujeme práce ranější, které připisujeme jinému autorovi stejného jména. Pro bližší upřesnění identity autora je pak navrhováno jméno Pierre Boursault de La Tour, který učil děti z kůru kostela Saint-Denis du Louvre v dané době.

Abstract:

This work analyses an important resource for study of music taste in France of early 18th century and tries to file this resource into contemporary context. It concerns “Dissertation sur la Musique Italienne et Françoise“, issued initially in the periodical Mercure Galant in November 1713 under signature M.de L.T. This treatise illustrates the development of music taste in the direction of mutual interconnection of Italian and French style which is demonstrated especially through production of French cantatas and sonatas within first decades of 18th century. Aside from the presentation of this work with respect to other works related to disputes between partisans of Italian and French music in France of 17th and first half of 18th centuries, this piece also addresses aspiration to more closely qualify the author of the mentioned work. Thanks next to one hundred works founded, which can be attributed to this author, we succeeded to restore the signature as Monsieur de La Tour. With regard to more musicians which concurred at that time with the same name, this effort deals with the analysis of the found works and their assigning to individual authors. Finaly, we ascribe to the author of Dissertation the songs published in years 1709 to 1731 within collective books of songs issued by the family Ballard as well as the works published in Mercure Galant over the same period. On the contrary, we eliminate from the authorship the earlier works which we attribute to another author of the same name. To specify the author more closely, Pierre Boursault de La Tour is proposed, musician who at that time teached children from the choir of Saint-Denis du Louvre.
