Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o činnosti a utváření orgánů samosprávy města Mladá Boleslav na počátku 1. republiky. Reflektuje dobovou legislativu a průběh obecních voleb po organizační stránce. Rekonstruuje volební výsledky z obecních voleb v letech 1919, 1923 a 1924 s přihlédnutím k sociálnímu pozadí města. Cílem práce je rekonstruovat formování obecního zastupitelstva, městské rady a volbu starosty a nahlédnout při tom na proměnu těchto orgánů po vzniku samostatného Československého státu. Posléze pak uvést, do jaké míry si dokázaly jednotlivé politické strany důvěru občanů obhájit.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis describes the formation of authoritative body of local government in Mlada Boleslav at early stage of the First republic. It reflects legislature of that period and the course of municipal election in an organisational aspect. The thesis summarises the election results of municipal elections in years 1919, 1923 and 1924 with respect to the city’s social background. Its goal is to reconstruct and describe formation of local authority, city council and election of a city mayor. Further it aims at the changes of these administrative bodies following the creation of autonomous Czechoslovak state. Then state to what extent did the individual parties succeed in defending the trust of the general public.
