The rehabilitation of a sports patient following a muscle and nerve injury of the shoulder: case report

Abstract:

This paper deals with the case of a patient who suffered a severe sports trauma which caused a humerus fracture, a muscle injury and a nerve injury. The patient is right with us about three weeks after the event and the fracture was already practically consolidated. Our rehabilitation program focused on the patient's rehabilitation until his return to the field. The patient was treated by us for almost four months in which a specific rehabilitation was made for the recovery of strength, muscle elasticity and athletic movement.

Abstract:

In questo elaborato viene trattato il caso di un paziente che ha subito un forte trauma sportivo il quale ha causato una frattura dell'omero, una lesione muscolare e una lesione nervosa. Il paziente ? giusto da noi a distanza di circa tre settimane dall'accaduto e la frattura era gi? praticamente consolidata. Il nostro programma riabilitativo si ? concentrato sulla riabilitazione del paziente fino al suo ritorno in campo. Il paziente ? stato trattato da noi per quasi quattro mesi in cui ? stata fatta una riabilitazione specifica per il recupero della forza, dell'elasticit? muscolare e del gesto atletico
