The impact of official development assistance (ODA) on the productivity of agricultural production in Ghana, Cameroon and Mali

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu vlivu agrární zahraniční rozvojové pomoci na produktivitu zemědělství v Ghaně, Kamerunu a Mali na jedné straně a na analýzu vlivu kvality veřejné správy na objemy zemědělské pomoci s druhou. V teoretické části práce autor představuje teoretické základy rozvojové pomoci a její efektivnost na hospodářský růst v rozvojových zemích. V V teoretické části práce autor také analyzuje africké zemědělství, aktuální problémy a jeho vztah s rozvojovou pomocí. V praktické části práce se autor zaměřuje na Ghanu, Kamerun a Mali. Zde autor analyzuje vliv bilaterální a multilaterální zemědělské rozvojové pomoci na produktivitu zemědělství. Rovněž je analyzován vliv ukazatelů kvality veřejné správy na objem zemědělské rozvojové pomoci. Závěrečná část práce je věnována doporučením, které mohou přispět k efektivnosti oficiální rozvojové pomoci.

Abstract:

Thesis work is aimed on analysis of influence of agricultural development dotations on agriculture productivity in Ghana, Cameroon and Mali on one side, and analysis of dependency of quality of governmental activities on the amount of agricultural dotations on the other hand. In theoretical part of the paper author presents theoretical basis of development aid and its effectiveness as for the influence on economic growth of the developing countries. Theoretical part of the paper as well covers the analysis of agriculture in Africa, its problems and interaction with external development aimed aid. Practical part of the paper is focused on countries of Ghana, Cameroon and Mali. In this part author analyses how bilateral and multilateral agricultural development aid is influencing agricultural productivity. Moreover, influence of quality of public administration on the quantities of agricultural development aid is analyzed. The final part of the thesis contains recommendations that will increase the effectiveness of official development aid.
