Determination of BRCA1 promoter methylation in breast carcinomas
Abstract:
Nejnovější studie využívající čipové technologie ukázaly, že mezi nádory prsu existuje skupina tzv. "basal-like" karcinomů, které neexprimují estrogenové, progesteronové a Her-2 receptory. Prognóza u této skupiny nádorů je poměrně špatná i z důvodu prozatím neexistující vhodné cílené terapie. Abstract:
Recent microarray analyses have revealed group of tumours denoted as basal like carcinomas. These tumours do not express oestrogen, progesterone and Her 2 receptors. Patients diagnosed with this type of tumour have poor prognosis due to lack of appropriate treatment modality.
