Abstract:

The thesis deals with the topic of business planning in the commercial activities run by companies. The author investigates the main theoretical aspects related to business planning, and reveals those activities’ importance for effective corporate performance management. The practical analysis run within the framework of the thesis reveals the financial estimations for the establishment of a car wash and tire service business project in Prague. The author justifies the project’s financial attractiveness, and develops a marketing plan for the effective development of the project. The thesis should be of interest to research dealing with financial planning and evaluation of business projects’ effectiveness.
