Activity of Ivan Markovič in interwar parliament of Czechoslovak republic

Abstract:

The aim of Bachelor diploma thesis was to summarize the work of JUDr. Ivan Markovič in the National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic and at the same time find out whether and how he reacted to the events concerning the Czechoslovak Republic. The basis of the work was an examination of documents from the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic from the period of Markovič's tenure in parliament, such as forms from meetings of the National Assembly and speeches by deputies from meetings of the Assembly. Other sources were press and laws from that period. We used the literature mainly to complement the situation and to explain the events that took place at that time and concerned the Czechoslovak Republic, and to which Markovič could therefore react in parliament.

Abstract:

Cieľom bakalárskej diplomovej práce bolo zhrnúť pôsobenie JUDr. Ivana Markoviča v Národnom zhromaždení republiky Československej a zároveň zistiť, či a ako reagoval na udalosti týkajúce sa ČSR. Základom práce bolo skúmanie dokumentov z poslaneckej snemovne ČR z obdobia pôsobenia Markoviča v parlamente, ktorými boli tlačivá zo schôdzí Národného zhromaždenia a rečnícke prejavy poslancov zo schôdzí zhromaždenia. Ďalšími prameňmi boli dobová tlač a dobové zákony. Literatúru sme použili najmä na doplnenie situácie a výklad udalostí, ktoré sa v tej dobe stali a týkali sa ČSR, a na ktoré teda mohol Markovič v parlamente reagovať.
