Motivation factors of seniors education at the University of the Third Age

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je vzdělávání seniorů na Univerzitě třetího věku Univerzity Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně. Teoretická část práce pojednává o tématu stáří a stárnutí, popisuje problematiku vzdělávání seniorů a úkol geragoga. Práce se dále zabývá historií univerzit třetího věku a v neposlední řadě motivací ve vzdělávání. V empirické části práce je vyhotoven kvalitativní výzkum, který probíhal pomocí rozhovorů se studenty U3V. Cílem praktické části bylo zjištění proměn motivačních faktorů u studujících v čase.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the education of pensioners at the University of the Third Age at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the topic of old age and aging, describes the issue of education of pensioners and the task of the geragogue. The work also deals with the history of universities of the third age and, last but not least, motivation in education. In the empirical part of the work, a qualitative research is made, which took place through interviews with U3V students. The aim of the practical part was to determine the changes in motivational factors in students over time.
