Marketing Communication For Sale Promotion of The North Face Ostrava

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je marketingová komunikace na podporu prodeje obchodu s outdoorovou módou The North Face Ostrava. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. Teoretická část otevírá studovanou problematiku vysvětlením pojmů spojených s marketingovou komunikací sportovně zaměřeného maloobchodu, konkrétně s průběžnými akcemi podpory prodeje. Kromě teoretického východiska jsou zde také stanoveny metodologické zásady výzkumné části, spolu s výzkumnými otázkami k ověření. Praktická část navazuje představením značky The North Face a analýzou současného stavu komunikace vybrané prodejny v Ostravě k jejich zákazníkům. Ta identifikuje aktuálně využívané komunikační strategie, ale především se zaměřuje na slevové akce. Analýza dat z interních zdrojů firmy přinese statistické údaje, zdali a jak moc jsou tyto akce přínosné při naplňování požadovaných cílů. Na zjištěná data naváže individuální rozhovor s testováním návrhů nových slevových akcí, pro získání komplexního pohledu, jak ze strany prodejních výsledků, tak ze strany zákazníků. Projektová část vychází ze zjištěných poznatků praktické části. Cílem je přinést návrhy nových tematických slevových akcí na podporu prodeje ostravské prodejny The North Face, jež podpoří dosažení stanovených cílů podniku přilákáním nových zákazníků a zvýšením prodejů.

Abstract:

The Essay deals with marketing communication for sales promotion of outdoor retail The North Face Ostrava. The thesis consists of three parts. The theoretical part opens the issues of study with a description of the concepts, that relate to marketing communication of sports retail, specifically with sales promotion events. Except for the theoretical basis, methodological principles set application in practices and research questions for verification. The practical part follows with an introduction of the brand The North Face and an analysis of the current communication's situation of chosen store in Ostrava with its customers. This analysis identifies the currently used communication strategy, but primarily it focuses on holding discount events. In-house data analysis brings statistics about if and how much these events contribute to the process of full filling the required aims. On its bases are held individual interview with the new discount events concept testing. This combination of research methods supports a complex view from the side of the store, but also the customers. The project part proceeds from discovered findings of the practical part. The aim is to bring proposals of new thematic discount events to promote sale in The North Face Ostrava store, which support achieving the store's aims like attracting new customers and gaining profits.
