Digitalization in the area of taxes and accounting

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na digitalizaci daní a účetnictví zvoleného ekonomického subjektu. V teoretické části byla stručně popsána historie vedení daní a účetnictví. Poté se teoretická část zaměřuje na současné nástroje, které společnosti mohou využívat k efektivnímu vedení svého účetnictví. V této části byly také popsány různé digitalizační prvky, které firmy mohou využívat k evidenci účetnictví a správě daní. V neposlední řadě bylo vybráno několik pojmů, které se pojí k dnešnímu vedení účetnictví. V praktické části pak bylo na základě zjištěných informací z teoretické části posuzováno, jakým způsobem se přibližují vybrané společnosti k teoretické základně. Cílem bakalářské práce je vyhodnotit možnosti digitální transformace vybraných procesů v oblasti daní a účetnictví v podmínkách zvoleného ekonomického subjektu v České republice a v relevantních případech provést komparaci s Německem. Na základě všech poznatků bylo zjištěno, že obě vybrané společnosti využívají několik digitalizačních prvků. Nicméně česká společnost by mohla zautomatizovat ještě více své procesy a maximalizovat tak své digitální prostředí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on the digitalization of taxes and accounting of the chosen economic entity. In the theoretical part, the history of tax and accounting was briefly described. Then, the theoretical part focuses on the current tools that companies can use to effectively manage their accounting. This part also described the different digitalization features that companies can use to keep their accounting and tax administration. Last, but not least, a few terms that are related to today's bookkeeping have been selected. The practical part then investigated how the selected companies approached the theoretical base based on the information found in the theoretical part. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the possibilities of digital transformation of selected processes in the field of tax and accounting in the conditions of the selected economic entity in the Czech Republic and to make a comparison with Germany in relevant cases. Based on all the findings, it was found that both selected companies use several digitalization elements. However, the Czech company could automate its processes even more and thus maximise its digital environment.
