The emplozment barriers of the people with mental illness from employers point of view

Abstract:

Diplomová práce: Bariéry pracovního uplatnění lidí s duševním onemocněním z hlediska zaměstnavatelů Tato diplomová práce se zabývá identifikací bariér při zaměstnávání lidí s duševním onemocněním na otevřeném trhu práce pohledem zaměstnavatelů. Výzkum zahrnuje zaměstnavatele v konkrétní sledované oblasti České republiky. Teoretická část obsahuje vysvětlení základních pojmů, které se vztahují k základní výzkumné otázce: Jaké jsou bariéry při zaměstnávání lidí s duševním onemocněním z pohledu zaměstnavatelů? Pro zodpovězení této otázky byl použit kvalitativní výzkum, data byla shromážděna za pomoci techniky polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Prostřednictvím rozhovorů s vybranými zaměstnavateli bylo zjišťováno jejich povědomí o lidech s duševním onemocněním, názory na jejich pracovní uplatnění obecně i v konkrétní organizaci, zkušenosti se zaměstnáváním cílové skupiny, možnosti nastavení pracovních podmínek. Výsledky rozhovorů jsou interpretovány v analytické části práce. V závěru práce je zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka a uvedeno doporučení pro praxi. Abstract:

Diploma Thesis: Barriers to employment of people with mental illness from the perspective of employers. This thesis deals with the identification of barriers to the employment of people with mental illness in the open labor market as it is viewed by employers. Research involves employers in a particular monitored area of the Czech Republic. The theoretical section explains the basic concepts that apply to the main research question: What are the barriers to employment for people with mental illness from the perspective of employers? To answer this question a method of qualitative research was used, data were collected using semi-structured interview techniques. The interviews with selected employers were focused on their awareness of people with mental illness, their views on work opportunities of these people in general and in a particular organization, their experience with employment of the target group and possibilities of setting working conditions. The results of interviews are interpreted in an analytical part of this thesis. In a summary of the thesis, the main research question is answered and recommendations for practice are proposed.
