Abstract:

ABSTRAKTCestovní ruch je považován za jednu z hlavních hnacích sil, která rozvíjí hospodářský a sociální rozvoj v rozvojové zemi jako je Ghana. I přesto že je Ghana země s velkým turistickým potenciálem, stále zaostává v porovnání s jinými zeměmi. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zanalyzovat dopad cestovního ruchu na socioekonomický vývoj Ghany. První část práce se soustřeďuje na definici cestovního ruchu, historii cestovního ruchu v Ghaně, cestovní ruch ve světě, Africe a Ghaně. V této části se také hovoří o některých turistických místech v Ghaně a trendech ghanské turistiky. Druhá část práce analyzuje spoustu shromážděných údajů z různých zdrojů, jako je světová banka a WTTC. Tato data jsou vysvětlena tak, aby zdůraznily dopad cestovního ruchu na ekonomiku. V této části se také podíváme na to, jak cestovní ruch ovlivňuje společnost a životní prostředí v Ghaně. Třetí část zahrnuje metodologii práce. Obsahuje také diskusi, doporučení a závěry týkající se výzkumu, založeném na analýzách.

Abstract:

ABSTRACTTourism is believed to be one of the major driving forces which foster economic and social development in developing countries such as Ghana. Ghana is a country with a huge tourism potential however, when compared to other countries, Ghana seems to be lagging behind.The aim of this dissertation is to analyze the impact of tourism on the socio-economic development of Ghana. The first part of this thesis will focus on the definitions of tourism, the history of tourism in Ghana, tourism around the World, Africa and Ghana. This part will also talk about some tourist sites in Ghana and trends of Ghanaian tourism. The second part of the thesis will look to analyze various data collected from various sources such as the world bank and the WTTC. These data will be explained to highlight the impact of tourism on the economy. This part will also look at how tourism affects the society and environment in Ghana. The third part will entail the methodology of the work. It will also include discussions, recommendations and conclusions on the research based on the analyses.
