The objective of this work is the analysis of phrasems and proverbs not only Polish but also foreign translated into the Polish, relating to wealth and poverty. Cílem této práce je analýza frazémů a nejenom polských přísloví, ale také cizích přeložených do polského jazyka, týkajících se bohatství a bídy. V teoretické části jsou předloženy definice frazeologie, jazykového obrazu světa. Samostatná kapitola patří knihám, které byly o jazykovém obrazu světa vytištěny.
