This thesis deals with the contemporaneity of a popular play Tales from the Vienna Woods by Ödön von Horvath. The principal theme of the play, which is put in the context of present-day theatre practice in the Czech Republic, is the role of a woman and the imbalance of the relationship between a man and a woman. V této bakalářské práci se věnuji aktuálnosti lidové hry "Povídky z vídeňského lesa" od Ödöna von Horvátha. Jako stěžejní téma dramatu, které dávám do souvislosti s dnešní dobou a inscenační praxí v ČR, jsem vybrala roli ženy a nevyváženost vztahu mezi mužem a ženou. Pomocí srovnání několika inscenací podtrhuji rozdíly v přístupu k tomuto tématu a zároveň navrhuji využití inscenačního potenciálu ke …more
